Digital Evidence for Child Abuse and Child Welfare Professionals

Developed for employees of various State Departments of Human Services, child social welfare and child abuse professionals, forensic interviewers of children and Children’s Advocacy Center employees. This course will educate those individuals who must work with both child victims of physical and sexual abuse as well as law enforcement and prosecutors about the latest advances in digital evidence. This course includes an overview of the civil and criminal court processes, new possible sources and methods for collecting this evidence as well as how it will be presented in a courtroom setting.
